Not too shabby for a solo trip!
Staff were super helpful, especially at the bar! The restaurant offered really good food and the swimming pool was a nice touch. Just a heads up, trains pass behind the hotel, so if you’re a light sleeper, it might bug you a bit.

Pleasant Stay with Room for Improvement
Our stay exceeded expectations with friendly staff and a spacious room, perfect for our needs. The peaceful gardens offered a delightful retreat, though more sun loungers by the pool would enhance the experience. A little more clarity on dining reservations could help future guests enjoy meals without confusion.

This hotel suits me perfectly with its free wi-fi, restaurant, and helpful staff. I remember how they assisted me in returning my forgotten belongings on my first stay. It's a great choice for a relaxing time, and I'm coming back for a new year!

pleasant stay with minor room improvements
The porter provided exceptional assistance, making check-in smooth after a long journey. The tranquil garden setting offered a peaceful escape from city life, with ample wildlife. The friendly staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, rivaling those at luxury establishments.
The room could benefit from slight upgrades in amenities.

The room was clean and had a comfy setup, which was nice. It did have open shelves instead of drawers, so I felt a bit exposed with my things. But overall, it was tidy enough and cozy for a good night's sleep. The decor is a bit dated, but not a total dealbreaker.

Had an awesome time with friends! We loved visiting The Grand Pier for ice cream and rides. The hotel was comfy, with great breakfast options, and the staff were really friendly. Make sure to try the full English breakfast! Parking was just £1 a day, which is a steal.

Quirky vibes and comfy stay
Had a chill one-night stay. The room was clean and really quiet. The bed was super comfy! The place had this fun, quirky character kinda like Fawlty Towers (seriously, the statue in the lobby is something else). The staff? So friendly and helpful! Dinner was just okay, but the breakfast was better than expected.

Great stay for dog lovers
The staff were super friendly,,, really accommodating, especially for our dog which was a huge plus! The room was nice enough and clean, we'd walk the dog on the former golf course right next to the hotel,,, great spot for it!
It wasn’t exactly dirt cheap, but for what we got, it was still acceptable.
